So, I've been away for a bit. Away from this blog, I mean. I'm pretty sure I've seen most of you in the last week or so. Let me catch you up on the ongoings of this week.
Monday: Winter Thanksgiving gathering. Best.Food.Ever. Grandma was kind enough to send some with me, and I have not cooked a meal all week!!! (unfortunately, I am all out now, so I guess tonight I'll be cooking...) Ended up getting a ride into the city with Michelle, and got home fairly late.
Tuesday (otherwise known as the longest day of my life): I was up at 6am and went to bed at 10pm. Long, long, long, long, long, long day. So long. I mean, I guess I only have four classes that day (and today..ugh), but my last class is really quite dull, and I always feel like falling asleep.
Had a movie night with the girls in the evening. We watched Penelope. Sarah has a new favorite movie.
Wednesday: That was yesterday, and one of my shorter days during the week. I had Music History, and found out I got 52% on my Listening Test. Everyone kept say that that's a good mark for university. I'm sorry, but that looks closer to failing than passing. Blah. Anyways, I also had a voice lesson. Unfortunately, my sickness has left me without a voice to sing with. So my voice lesson's teacher and I practiced pronunciation for different languages, and it was REALLY fun!! I am obviously a music nerd, b/c I really enjoyed this.
After the lesson I had a make-up dictation, and I'm fairly certain I got most of it right.
So far, so good. I think I'm getting a handle on this school of music stuff.
I have a theory test today, so once that's done, the worst of my week will be over and I can relax!!! Until Friday, then I should start reading a book for Bib Lit, starting essay research, practicing voice stuff...
