Thursday

Life is good again. I've been a bit out of sorts this week. Emotionally, that is. For someone who comes home every weekend, I sure felt/feel homesick. I'm not entirely sure what this is about. I just know that I miss the comfort of home, the way it feels. Ah, well, at least tomorrow is Friday, and I can head home!
By the way, for all that are interested, CMU is putting on a church service at Douglas Mennonite Church this Sunday. There are two services, one at 9:30 and one at 11. So, if you want a change of pace, come on out! Here's the address:
1517 Rothesay Street, Winnipeg
We are singing 7 of our pieces, as well as leading some hymns. I'm super excited for it, actually, and it should be great.

On an entirely different tangent, I have found another way to waste my time. It's called StumbleUpon. Check it out. You'll never get anything done again.
Except, that I DID! I have achieved everything I wanted to for this week. I got all of my homework done (and did it well!), practiced voice at least once a day, and got to listen to an amazing string quartet from the Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra. I've decided I'm changing majors. I'm going to be a Violin major instead of voice. For never having touched the instrument, I think I have enough raw talent to do what it takes. : P

Going to bed now.
Love You!

  1. It was an excellent performance in which grandma and grandpa W. and I enjoyed together. Got up at 5:45 to get Brooklyn to Winnipeg for the hour practice ahead of the service. Well worth the early morning plus I got in two coffee moments with my parents. Nice job CMU singers - especially Brooklyn who shines like a candle while on stage! (Glad you are feeling better kiddo.)
