By the title of this post, you know that my week has been death thus far. I have/had 5 exams, 3 down , to to go. Today is the fourth one. Bib Lit. Now, our professor seems to have it out for us (does this phrase make sense? She wants us to fail, essentially) and has said the exam will be H-A-R-D! I guess you wouldn't want to tell your students the exam's going to be easy, but come on! Most of the people in her class are music students, and to be honest, her class was my least favourite, and I care the least about it. What I do appreciate, however, is the chance to finally write words on an exam! You don't know how big of a deal this is to. So far, I have sung, clapped, chanted, played, drawn dots, sharps, flats, rests, but not a word written. So it'll be nice to communicate thought for once. This will be my easiest exam, but seeing as I have not a hot clue what I'm getting in any of my classes, I don't really know what the outcome will be.
Here's something else that I don't understand. People tell me that marks mean different things in university. That a 60% is actually really good... I think they're wrong. How can a 60% be good, if people are still getting 80's and 90's?! There's something flawed in their reasoning, I think. Because a 60% still feels crappy, just like it did in highschool.
So, there you have it. I woke up early today to get in some more study time, and now that's what I'm going to do. My exam's at 1:30pm. Wish me Luck!
