I had practice with the WSO (Winnipeg symphony orchestra!) on Wednesday evening, and again tonight, and tomorrow afternoon, and then it's the concert! We're only in the second half though, so I'm going to have to sit through some weird music.
Singing up on stage is so amazing. I can't really describe it. It's so overwhelming, and terrifying, and wonderful, and spectacular, and, wow. I've seen so many great productions there, and to get to stand on that stage, I can't help but imagine what'd it be like to be in an opera of musical there. It was exhausting, standing up there, squished together. The orchestra is so HUGE, that the choir really feels like an afterthought. But it's still great!
2 of my classes were cancelled this week. Theory on Tuesday, because Janet was sick, and Intro to Christianity on Thursday. Our prof was at some MB conference in BC. I've had some extra time to do homework, which is good. I don't really have much time for that sort of thing this weekend, and I have several things due next week.
That's been my week thus far. Voice lessons went well. Henriette actually clapped for me after I had finished a song! That was great.
This is a favourite song of mine at the moment. Grandma Friesen has borrowed me her Bug while they're out exploring America, so I've been listening to the radio more than normal.
