I had my audition this morning. After waking up and hour early so I could warm up, practice, and plan out my movements, the prof was late. Then he told me he didn't know the song I was singing, and therefore couldn't really play it. He had me sing over his shoulder, and I got so confused by his piano playing. It was awful. I really wasn't able to show him what I could do! Well, if anything, I'll be in the chorus. Pretty sure, at least. He kept mentioning the surplus of women that audition, vs the minimal men. I'm hooped.
Oh well, auditioning is always good practice, I suppose.
Off to begin the second longest day of my week.
