The New Year is here! And with it it brings a new semester of school. The three week break I had was nice, but I wasn't motivated to do anything. I ended up hanging out at home for most of it, which I actually enjoy. But it is nice to be back at school. I like living near my friends, and having my own space again. I'm loving being back! I did not miss the cafeteria cooking, but I suppose everything in life has good and bad components to it. It's not that the food is bad, but it isn't particularly tasty after experiencing Christmas cabbage roles.
My semester isn't going to be easy. My courses all have a lot of reading and independent movie watching, which is something I've never had to do before. It will be a lot of work. This month is crazy, filled with lots of Opera Workshop rehearsals. My Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturdays are all booked for this month, which is a lot. I get tired just thinking about it. But it will be a lot of fun also. Tomorrow is our first run -through of everything, which is nerve wracking and exciting.
I've got to go to recital now, but I'll try to write more later.
